In support of Melbourne’s healthcare workers on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic, Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites is offering a ‘home away from home’ for those who require a safe space to stay in Melbourne, away from loved ones throughout this time.

Healthcare workers will have access to a reduced nightly rate at selected Oaks properties in Melbourne, starting at $75 per night, as well as free coffee and a 50% discount on the menu at Oaks’ Melbourne food & beverage outlets.

“In line with Oaks’ commitment to supporting those in need, it is important to us that we can offer a comfortable and safe home for our brave healthcare workers who are courageously putting themselves on the front line to protect the wider community.” Said Craig Hooley, Chief Operating Officer at Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites.

“Following our recent bushfire offer of emergency accommodation, as well as our housing of rough sleepers and those needing to self-isolate throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to again offer our help in the form of a home away from home.” He concluded.

Oaks offers large residential-style accommodation with a variety of 1,2- and 3-bedroom apartments available, many of which have a full-service kitchen and laundry facilities.

Guests at Oaks can also utilise in-room food delivery from Deliveroo, and high-speed Wi-Fi in-room for continuity of communication.

Oaks properties across Australia have implemented the Oaks SureStay program, which ensures hospital grade cleaning measures across all areas of each property including guest rooms, common areas and back-of-house, safeguarding the health and wellbeing of all guests.  Government regulations around social distancing are observed by all staff.

Healthcare workers can claim their reduced nightly rate by emailing [email protected] and presenting their Health Professional ID upon arrival. The food & beverage offer can also be claimed by presenting a Health Professional ID.
