The weather in Kingscliff is characterised by warm temperatures around 20°C and while it can rain some parts of the year, there’s also plenty of sunny days to balance it out. If you want to enjoy outdoor activities we recommend visiting during the drier months, from June to August.

Kingscliff is the ideal place to enjoy water activities and unwind by its beaches. Head to Cudgen Creek where you can go paddleboarding, snorkelling with turtles or Kingscliff Beach to take a surf lesson.

For outdoor activities, rent a bike and go for a ride along the coastal path from Fingal Head to Casuarina and Cabarita, keeping an eye out for dolphins and whales along your way.

The Australian Longboard Surfing Open, a surfing event where longboarders compete and showcase their skills.
