Oasis Birthday Party Packages Terms and Conditions

1. Promotion Period

This “Birthday Party Packages – Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort Package” * Promotion commences at 9.00am AEST on 29 April 2024 and automatically concludes at 4.00pm AEST 31 December 2024 (Promotion Period). This Offer is applicable for stays between the periods of and including 29 April 2024 until 31 December 2024. All stays must be booked during the Promotion Period.

2. Promotion Offer

This “Birthday Party Packages – Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort Package*” Promotion Offer is outlined in the table below, with blackout dates listed in Schedule A.

3. General Promotion Terms

Accommodation

Package

b. 25% of the total package price is payable at the time of booking and will be held as a deposit to secure your booking.  Until receipt of the contract and/or initial deposit, all bookings are considered tentative only and may be released without notice. Receipt of the initial deposit will act as acceptance of these terms and conditions. The remainder of the total package price is payable on arrival. 

c. Please note that all debit/credit card payments will incur a 1.5% processing fee.

d. After your booking is made, a representative from the property will contact you to discuss your event and to provide an event details form. You must complete and return the event details form to the property at least 14 days prior to your event.

e. In the event that you require changes or additions to your package, you must specify these in writing.

f. Cancellations or changes may be permitted up to 30 days prior to your event.  If you book within the 30 day window prior to your event, no cancellation is permitted.  If you wish to cancel a booking, it must be done no later than 24-Hours prior to check-in by contacting the Events & Conference Manager directly via [email protected] or on 07 5491 0342.

Waterpark and Property Access and Safety

g. Parents or guardians are required to sign a waiver form on behalf of each child using the water park prior to children being permitted entry to the water park.

h. To comply with HACCP Safety and Hygiene regulations, guests and visitors are not permitted to bring food or beverages into Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort. Similarly, guests and visitors are not permitted to remove food or beverage from the premises.  For the purposes of this package, guests are permitted to bring a birthday cake.

i. The package includes exclusive use of the marquee, but does not include exclusive use of the water park.

Food and Beverage

j. Food and beverage arrangements, entertainment, marquee set-up requirements and commencement and conclusion timings must be confirmed 14 days prior to the event date. The guaranteed number of guests attending the function must be provided 14 days prior to the group arrival date. Should a guaranteed number not be received, the attendance indicated on the Banquet Event Orders will be taken as final.

k. Should beverages be charged on a consumption basis, Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort will present a docket to the authorised signatory to be signed off at the end of the function, should the authorised signatory not be available Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort does not take any liability for the charges and the docket, signed or not, will form the final charge for beverages consumed for the event.

General

l. Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is not liable for any items brought on site for the purpose of the conference by any guest, organiser or external supplier.

m. Suppliers (e.g. entertainment, music) may be recommended by Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort although no representations are made about the quality or suitability of such suppliers.

n. An induction process along with safety documentation is required for any external suppliers entering the property.

o. All property owned by guests, organisers or external suppliers must be removed within 24 hours of event conclusion. After this time the client gives the resort permission to dispose of this property. The safety and secure storage of such property remains the sole responsibility of the guest, organisers or external suppliers.

p. This Promotion Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts or packages and is non-exchangeable, transferrable, or redeemable for cash.

q. This Promotion Offer does not include any additional discounts for Oaks DISCOVERY loyalty members.
