Terms and Conditions of Entry for Oaks Weddings Honeymoon Offer (Promotion)
1. Promotional Period
This “Oaks Weddings Honeymoon Offer” Promotion commences at 12:01am AEST on 3 March 2025 and automatically concludes at 11:59pm AEST 31 December 2025 (Promotion Period).
This offer is applicable for new weddings events held between the periods from 3 March 2025 to 31 December 2026.
2. Promotional Offer
This “Oaks Weddings Honeymoon Offer” Promotion Offer includes the following offers:
b) Promotion 2 - Receive 5-nights complimentary honeymoon accommodation for 2 guests at any Minor Hotels property in Thailand including return economy flights to Thailand, when booking a wedding reception and/or ceremony for the years 2025 or 2026 at participating properties listed below.
3. Minimum Spend
A minimum spend apply to the Promotion Offer as below:
i. Promotion 1 a minimum spend of $10,000 AUD/NZD for any food and beverage spend; and
ii. Promotion 2 a minimum spend of $45,000 AUD/NZD for any food and beverage spend.
4. Participating properties
This Promotion Offer is only applicable to be used at Participating properties as listed below:
- Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort
- Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort
- Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel
- Oaks Port Douglas Resort
- Oaks Perth Hotel
- Oaks Wellington Hotel
5. Complimentary honeymoon accommodation
Valid for travel up to three (3) months after the wedding event date and available exclusively for lead-in room types, for stays from to Sunday through Thursday. Room upgrades are subject to availability and may incur additional costs. Room servicing will be provided on the third day and upon departure only. The honeymoon accommodation bookings are subject to availability.
6. Airfares to Thailand
Subject to General Promotion Terms listed below, airfares to Thailand will be based on best available fare at time of booking, return economy flights only up to a maximum value of $2000 AUD for both guests. Flights will be booked and processed by the events team and must be booked a minimum eight (8) weeks prior to travel. Flight bookings will include standard baggage allowance. Any additional expenses, such as excess baggage fees, flight changes, or any other incidental costs, will be the guest’s responsibility.
7. Payment conditions
Payment conditions, including a detailed payment schedule, will be outlined in the event contract provided upon booking the wedding. These may include, but are not limited to, the following terms:
a) From signing this contract until ninety-one (91) days prior to arrival you may release up to 30% of total estimated accommodation and events charges without occurring any penalties. Rooms and Event Numbers reduced over this will be charged the cancelation fee equal to the full stay of each room and full expected event spend.
b) Between 90-61 days prior to arrival – you may release up to 20% of total estimated accommodation and events charges without occurring any penalties. Rooms and Event Numbers reduced over this will be charged the cancelation fee equal to the full stay of each room and full expected event spend
c) Between 60-31 Days prior to arrival – you may release up to 10% of total estimated accommodation and events charges without occurring any penalties. Rooms and Event Numbers reduced over this will be charged the cancelation fee equal to the full stay of each room and full expected event spend
d) At 30 Days any unused portion of the accommodation block, based on the allocation agreed to prior to 30 days from arrival date, will automatically be released for general sale. The hotel will continue to accept reservations after this date on a space-available basis. Any accommodation cancellations within thirty (30) days will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the full stay of each room cancelled and full expected event spend.
e) All cancellations must be received in writing to your hotel contact
8. General Promotion Terms
Additional charges may apply for any extra tables or custom setups required to meet your specific needs. Event menu options and venue decorations vary across each Participating Property.
Registered Professional Wedding Event Organisers are eligible for commissionable rates on wedding events and managed event accommodation group bookings when booked directly through the venue events team.

Guests are responsible for any and all other travel arrangements and associated costs (including but not limited to travel, additional flights (excluding those listed in point 6 above and any associated costs), parking, food, transport, passports, visas, permits, local taxes, duties, travel insurance or any additional costs or charges including any damages incurred throughout your stays.
This offer is subject to availability at time of booking and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts or packages and is non-exchangeable, transferrable, or redeemable for cash.
