Terms and Conditions for Oaks End of Year Festive Event Campaign 2026* (Promotion)

1. Promotion Period

This Promotion commences at 16:00 AEST on 6 July 2026 and automatically concludes at 23:59 AEST on 31 December 2026 (Promotion Period).

This Promotion is applicable for new end of year or festive events (such as a Christmas party or specific event package advertised by a Participating Property for this purpose) which is booked at Participating Properties during the Promotion Period and held between the periods of and including 6 July 2026 to 31 December 2026.

A new end of year or festive event is defined as any bona fide end of year or festive event booking which is made during the Promotion Period, which is not:

1. an existing event booking;
2. a variation, amendment, change or otherwise for any existing event booking;
3. an existing event booking which is cancelled and rebooked (whether by the same or a related entity); and/or
4. an event booking which is substantially similar in event details (including date, venue, client, or purpose) to any existing booking.

All end of year or festive events must be booked during the Promotion Period through our website www.oakshotels.com/en/festive-event-packages or direct via our events team.

2. Promotion Offer

This Promotion includes the following offers made at the Participating Properties:

1. where an end of year or festive event is booked at the Participating Properties and you comply with the entry requirements as set out in the giveaway terms and conditions, you will be entered into a draw to win an accommodation voucher for 5 nights’ accommodation, valued at approximately AUD $1,750.00; and     
2. in addition to the above, where listed in the below table, you will receive an additional bonus offer.

Please note that event packages vary across Participating Properties and are subject to their own specific terms and conditions which can include but are not limited to minimum / maximum guest numbers which vary depending on the capacities of function rooms and specific event packages booked.

3. Payment Conditions

Relevant payment conditions, including a detailed payment schedule, will be outlined in the event contract provided upon booking the event.

4. General Promotion Terms

Additional charges may apply for any extra tables or custom setups required to meet your specific event needs.

Event menu options and venue decorations vary across each Participating Property. Seasonal menu items are subject to availability and must be pre-booked 7 days in advance.

All end of year or festive events must be booked during the Promotion Period through our website www.oakshotels.com/en/festive-event-packages or direct via our events team.

Registered Professional Event Organisers are eligible for commissionable rates on events and managed event accommodation group bookings when booked directly through the venue events team.

This offer is subject to availability at time of booking (and blackout dates may apply which can be notified to you via email or by contacting our events team) and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts or packages and is non-exchangeable, transferrable, or redeemable for cash.

This offer is also subject to further Terms and Conditions as included in the event contract provided upon booking the event.

This Promotion and any associated terms and conditions may be changed or withdrawn at our discretion, at any time, however existing bookings will be honoured.

5. Oaks End of Year Festive Event Campaign Giveaway 2026* Terms and Conditions

Please read the terms and conditions carefully. By entering this Promotion, you have confirmed you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. These terms and conditions of entry, including, without limitation, information on how to participate and the prize or promotion details ("Terms"), apply to the Promotion, and entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms by an entrant.  
2. The promoter is Minor Hotels Australasia Limited ACN  113 972 366 / ABN 70 113 972 366 of Level 26, 266 George Street, Brisbane, Queensland 4000 ("Promoter").
3. The Promotion will be open from 16:00 AEST on 6 July 2026 until 23:59 AEST on 31 December 2026 ("Promotion Period"). Any entries received after the Promotion Period will be deemed invalid entries and will not be considered.  
4. Information on how to enter and/or participate in this Promotion and any prize information not listed in these Terms is deemed to be incorporated into (and form part of) these Terms.    
5. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and anything else that refers to this Promotion, these Terms will prevail.  

6. Entry in this Promotion is only open to natural persons which are resident in Australia or New Zealand aged 18 years and over, expressly excluding:   

   1. management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter or its related bodies corporate as well as the participating and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of prizes if applicable); 
   2. a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph 6(a) of these Terms; 
   3. persons who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win a promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter (except in the case of a legal change of name); and 
   4. persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter.  
7. The persons referred to in paragraph 6(a) of these Terms includes natural and non-natural relations, The Promoter is responsible for determining a person’s eligibility for the Promotion. The Promoter’s decision on whether a person is eligible to enter or participate in this Promotion is final and may be determined in the Promotor’s absolute discretion.   
8. Entries in the Promotion are personal to each entrant and are incapable of being assigned, novated, or transferred to any other person.  
9. All entrants agree that if they win the prize, they will not, sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation, including the Internet. Photographs will be allowed only at the discretion of the Promoter.  
10. The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Promotion result or any other decisions the Promoter makes in connection with the Promotion.  
11. Personal information used and/or collected for the purpose of this Promotion will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By entering this Promotion, the entrant consents to the Promoter’s use, storage, and destruction of their information in accordance with that policy. Entrants agree that their personal details (including their full name and general residential location) may be displayed by the Promoter on their social media pages or website to announce the chosen winner of that competition for an indefinite period of time being at least 28 days to allow for legislative requirements.  
12. Subject to legislative requirements, the Terms associated with this Promotion may be amended, varied or removed at the reasonable discretion of the Promoter without further notice.  
13. Subject to legislative requirements, the Promotion may be withdrawn at any time prior to the Draw.  
14. The Promotion and these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland. The Promoter and all entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Queensland.  
15. Images on any marketing collateral in relation to this Promotion are for illustrative purposes only.  
16. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies which cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.  

HOW TO ENTER

17. To enter and be eligible for a chance to win, eligible entrants must, during the Promotion Period:

    1. Book and hold an end of year or festive event at any participating Oaks Hotels Resorts & Suites venue;
    2. Complete the entry requirements by following the prompts on the giveaway landing page at https://www.oakshotels.com/en/festive-event-packages/competition and fill in all mandatory fields on the entry form;
    3. Opt in to receive email promotions from the Promoter and its related bodies corporate; and
    4. Only submit one entry per eligible entrant.

DRAW

18. This Promotion is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner. Accordingly, each eligible and valid entry has an equal chance of being selected.
19. The prize draw will be drawn by the Promoter at Level 26, 266 George Street, Brisbane, QLD 4000 (Draw Location) at 10:00 AEST on Monday, 11 January 2027 from all eligible/valid entries received during the Promotion Period to select one winner (Draw).  
20. The winner will be notified within 24 hours via email and telephone using the details supplied when entering the Promotion.
21. If the first eligible/valid chosen entry winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond to any attempted contact within 48 hours of the Draw, that entrant will be disqualified, their entry will be declared null and void and a second chance Draw for the unclaimed prize will take place at the Draw Location by the Promoter at 12:00 AEST on Wednesday, 13 January 2027. This process will be repeated until a valid entry winner is successfully contacted. 
22. The winner of the Draw will be published on https://www.oakshotels.com/en/competition-winners within 5 days of the Draw.  

PRIZE

23. The eligible/valid winner of the Draw will win one (1) x accommodation voucher 5 nights’ accommodation, valued at approximately AUD $1,750.00. 

24. The accommodation voucher is subject to the following terms and conditions:  

    1. The accommodation voucher is valid for use for 12 months from date of issue and will not be extended under any circumstances.  
    2. The accommodation voucher is only valid for use for up to two (2) guests in a lead in room type on accommodation at Minor Hotels properties within Australia and New Zealand, excluding any franchise or HMA properties. To view available locations, see: https://www.minorhotels.com/.  
    3. To make a booking with the accommodation voucher, please contact Minor Hotels by email [email protected] or calling 13 62 57. Please note the voucher must be presented upon arrival and a credit card security bond will be required.  
    4. Bookings are subject to availability at time of booking, and the accommodation voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, or packages. 
    5. Blackout dates apply to this accommodation voucher including but not limited to all Australian school holiday periods, 25-31 December, 25 March 2027 to 29 March 2027, and any peak periods varying by property location. Please contact Minor Hotels for the full list of Blackout Dates.

    7. If a confirmed booking requires amendment, it will be subject to our General Terms and Conditions and charges may apply. 
    8. The accommodation voucher covers accommodation only, the eligible/valid winner is still responsible for all taxes, service charges, upgrades, incidentals, and extra person surcharges payable (as applicable). 
    9. The accommodation voucher must be redeemed in a single booking and cannot be split across multiple stays or bookings.  
    10. Any remaining balance/credit not used on the accommodation voucher will be forfeited. 
    11. Accommodation bookings can only be made by persons over 18 years of age and guest limits for rooms must be adhered to. 
    12. The Promoter and any of its related entities are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorised use of the accommodation voucher and reserve the right to refuse redemption or cancel a booking made using the accommodation voucher where there has been a breach of these terms or suspected unauthorised use. Please note a replacement accommodation voucher will not be issued in any circumstances. 
25. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash or transferred or sold to any other person (other than the winner) and cannot be on-sold, exchanged for other goods or services, or for any other purpose. 
26. The Promoter and any of its related entities are not responsible, directly or indirectly, for:  
    1. any delays, reschedules, insolvency, acts of war, and force majeure impacting on the eligible/valid winner’s travel arrangements or use of Prizes by any third-party product, good, or service provider;
    2. loss, damage, accidents, or injury arising from any aspect of any booking, reservation, or use of products, goods, or services connected with the Prizes; and/or  
    3. any ancillary costs incurred by the eligible/valid winner including but not limited to travel arrangements and associated costs (as defined in clause 27), insurance, food and beverage costs, or any other costs, expenses, or fees incurred during use of the Prizes. 
27. The eligible/valid winner is responsible for any and all other travel arrangements and associated costs (including but not limited to travel, flights, parking, food, transport, passports, visas, permits, local taxes, duties, travel insurance or any additional costs or charges including any damages incurred throughout your stays at Minor Hotels properties including Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites and/or partner brand properties).
