IS IT A PHYSICAL GIFT CARD?
No it is an online e-Gift Card. An email featuring your e-Gift Card details will be sent to the recipient’s email address provided. You can also opt to send a notification via SMS.
HOW DO I USE MY E-GIFT CARD?
When you are ready to make your booking you can call our reservations team on 13 62 57 our team will make your booking and use the value of the gift card towards the booking.
WHAT CAN E-GIFT CARDS BE USED FOR?
E-Gift Cards can be used towards room bookings only, at any Oaks property. It must be booked in advance through the reservations team on 13 62 57. Please note that Oaks eGift cards are not accepted at AVANI branded properties.
WHAT CURRENCIES AND DENOMINATIONS ARE E-GIFT CARDS AVAILABLE IN?
E-Gift Cards are available in Australian dollars (AUD). E-Gift Cards can be purchased in a selection of denominations from AUD 20 to AUD 500.
HOW WILL EXCHANGE RATES BE CALCULATED WHEN I REDEEM MY E-GIFT CARD?
Any redemption made for a hotel or resort in a different currency than that noted on the e-Gift Card will be converted into the local currency when you make the booking.
WHO CAN USE THE GIFT CARD?
Only the specified recipient is able to use the e-Gift Card.
DOES THE HOLDER OF THE E-GIFT CARD HAVE TO BE A GUEST TO REDEEM IT?
No the recipient can use the e-Gift Card to make a booking for someone else.
DO E-GIFT CARDS HAVE AN EXPIRY DATE?
Yes, e-Gift Cards purchased after 31 March 2018 are valid for 3 years from date of issue, you are to book and redeem the voucher before this date. You can locate the specific validity information on each e-Gift Card. We regret to inform that we will not be able to extend the voucher validity.
HOW IS THE E-GIFT CARD DELIVERED?
We will deliver the e-Gift Card to the recipient's email address indicated within the order. An SMS will also be sent to the recipient IF this option was selected at the time of purchase. There is no extra cost for sending the SMS. Please reconfirm that the recipient's email or mobile number is correct before proceeding with the order.
HOW CAN THE RECIPIENT REDEEM THE E-GIFT CARD?
The e-Gift Card recipient can only redeem it by calling the reservations team on 13 62 57 Monday to Friday 7am to 9pm AEST, Saturday & Sunday 8am -5pm AEST and providing the e-Gift Card details over the phone.
DOES THE FULL VALUE OF THE E-GIFT CARD NEED TO BE REDEEMED AT ONCE?
No, any unused credit will remain on your e-gift card until the expiry date. While it cannot be redeemed on multiple properties in one transaction, you can make separate bookings to use all the e-gift card value.
WHAT DO I DO IF THE E-GIFT CARD HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED?
Ensure you have entered the correct email address, check all Spam and Junk Mail folders, and then please contact us and we will help you solve the problem.
HOW DO I CHECK THE VALUE AND EXPIRY DATE OF MY E-GIFT CARD?

CAN E-GIFT CARDS BE REDEEMED FOR CASH?
No, e-Gift Cards are not able to be redeemed for cash.
WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE LOST MY E-GIFT CARD?
Your e-Gift Card is digital, simply find your original email and reprint. Alternatively please contact us with the e-Gift Card information, and we will assist in re-issuing the gift card.
