Terms and Conditions of Entry for Welcome to Oaks Newsletter Double DISCOVERY Dollar Promotion* (Promotion)
The Minor DISCOVERY Welcome to Oaks Newsletter Double DISCOVERY Dollars Promotion (the “Promotion”) applies to net eligible spend on eligible stays at select Minor Hotels in Australia or New Zealand by GHA DISCOVERY members (“Members”) who book directly with Oaks Hotels, Avani, Elysia Wellness Retreat, Minor Hotels, or GHA DISCOVERY and have registered for the Promotion prior to their stay.
The Promotion runs for 12 months from the registration of the Member, provided that such registration occurs between 3 March 2026 - 31 December 2026 (“Promotional Period”)
After registering for the Promotion during the Promotion Period, the Member’s first eligible booking made during the 12 month period from registering (“Stay Period”) will have the 2x Bonus D$ applied to it after their stay provided that the stay also occurs during the Stay Period.
Please note that Members can only register once for the Promotion.
Double DISCOVERY Dollars
The Promotion allows members to earn double the normal number of base DISCOVERY Dollars (“D$”) for their Eligible Stays at select hotels. Members will earn both the normal number of Base DISCOVERY Dollars (“Base D$”) and an equal number of Promotional DISCOVERY Dollars (“Promotional D$”).
To take advantage of the offer, participants must be a Member of the GHA DISCOVERY programme and must have accepted the GHA DISCOVERY programme Terms & Conditions (https://www.ghadiscovery.com/terms-conditions), along with the Oaks Privacy policy (https://www.oakshotels.com/en/privacy-policy) and the Oaks Terms & Conditions (https://www.oakshotels.com/en/terms-and-conditions) or the Avani Terms & Conditions (https://www.avanihotels.com/en/terms-and-conditions) and Avani Privacy Policy (https://www.avanihotels.com/en/privacy-statement) or the Minor Hotels Terms & Conditions (https://www.minorhotels.com/en/terms-and-conditions) and Minor Hotels Privacy Policy (https://www.minorhotels.com/en/privacy-policy).
To be eligible to participate in the Promotion, Members must log in to their GHA DISCOVERY account and register for the Promotion within the Promotional Period (3 March 2026 - 31 December 2026) prior to making a Member rate booking (“Eligible Booking”) at participating Oaks Hotels, Avani and Minor Hotels branded properties within the Promotional Period. Members can log in to GHA DISCOVERY on any of the following designated websites: https://www.oakshotels.com, https://www.avanihotels.com, https://www.minorhotels.com, https://www.ghadiscovery.com/
Eligible Bookings must be made either via direct bookings through the website/s https://www.oakshotels.com/en, https://www.avanihotels.com, https://www.minorhotels.com/, https://www.elysiaretreat.com.au/, and https://www.ghadiscovery.com/ or by calling Minor Hotels central reservations office on 13 62 57.
The eligible stay must be completed within the Stay Period.
“Ineligible Rates” do not qualify for earning Promotional D$.
"Ineligible Rates" shall include, without limitation: (1) third party online retailer rates, such as Expedia.com, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Orbitz.com, Priceline, Travelocity.com, etc. (“OTAs”) (2) tours series rates, tour operator packages and charter rates (3) room rates for airline staff and crew where rooms are pre-booked and paid for by the airline or directly; (4) travel-industry staff rates; (5) any employee rates, employee family or employee friends discount rates; (6) other discounted rates; (7) any complimentary, free, traded or bartered night stays, or any stays in connection with gift certificates or other awards or vouchers. First stays on ineligible rates may receive DISCOVERY Dollars on a promotional basis, but these stays will not count towards tier qualification; subsequent stays on an ineligible rate will not receive D$ nor will they count towards tier qualification.
Additional Terms
1. Promotional D$ are awarded in addition to the Base D$ that are issued as a result of completing the eligible stay. Promotional D$ expire six (6) months from the date of issuance and are therefore excluded from the Base D$ expiration rules. The expiration date on any Base D$ earned on a member’s stay will be based on the respective GHA DISCOVERY Programme tier status of the Member at the time of issuance. 2. Bookings made without prior registration for the Promotion are not Eligible Bookings for the promotion even if the booking is made within the eligible Promotional period.
3. A Booking that commences prior to the Promotional Registration Period is not an Eligible Booking even if part of that booking is made within the eligible Promotional period. The booking must be made after registration to the promotion to be eligible for the Promotion.
4. This offer is subject to change or withdrawal without notice, cannot be transferred or exchanged for other forms of compensation, cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion unless explicitly stated, and is subject to availability. D$ is not redeemable for cash.
5. The reference to net eligible spend has the meaning given to that term in the terms and conditions for GHA DISCOVERY.
6. Promotional D$ can be earned on a maximum of two rooms per night.
