Terms and Conditions of Entry for “Oaks Wellington Hotel and Everything New Zealand” Competition.
Please read the terms and conditions carefully. By entering this Promotion, you confirm you have read, understood and agree to abide by the terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions of entry, including information on how to participate and the prize details (“Terms”), apply to the Promotion.

The promoter is MH Management (NZ) Limited (Company Number 1576820) of Deloitte, Level 4, 151 Cambridge Terrace, Christchurch Central, Christchurch, 8013, New Zealand (“Promoter”)

The Promotion will be open from 12.00pm (AEST) on 1 April 2025 until 11.59pm (AEST) on 14 April 2025 (“Promotion Period”).

Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms.

If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and anything else that refers to this Promotion, these Terms will prevail.

Entry in the Promotion is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over, excluding:
a. management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of prizes);
b. a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph 6(a) of these Terms;
c. persons who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win a promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter (except in the case of a legal change of name); and
d. persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter,
(“Eligible Entrant”).
The persons referred to in paragraph 6(b) of these Terms include natural and non-natural relations (in the opinion of the Promoter) and the Promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an Eligible Entrant in its absolute discretion.
HOW TO ENTER

PRIZE
9. The prize consists of:
a. Accommodation Voucher for two (2) night stay for two (2) people in a Studio Room at Oaks Wellington Hotel and valid to be used from 1 May 2025 to 30 April 2026;
b. $50 Food and Beverage Credit be valid for use during the accommodation booking at the Oaks and Vine Restaurant Wellington; and
c. $500 Everything New Zealand Experiences Voucher to be redeemed through Everything New Zealand Experiences website https://www.everythingnewzealand.com/
(“Prize”).
10. In respect of the part of the Prize that is accommodation, taxes and service charges are not part of the Prize and are payable to the hotel by the Winner on checkout.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another Prize of similar or greater value.
DRAW
12. The Prize will be drawn by Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites, 89 Courtenay Place, Te Aro, Wellington 6011 at 12.00pm on 15 April 2025 from all Valid Eligible Entries received (“Draw”) to select one winner (“Winner”).13. The Winner will be notified within 24 hours via email or phone using the details supplied when entering the Promotion.
14. If the Winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond to any attempted contact within 24 hours of the Draw, such Winner will be disqualified, their entry will be declared null and void and a new Winner will be re-drawn from the remaining Valid Entries. This process will be repeated until a Winner is successfully contacted.
15. The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result or any other decisions the Promoter makes in connection with the Promotion.
GENERAL
17. All accommodation bookings are subject to availability. Blackout dates may apply which can be notified to you via phone by calling Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites on 0800 004 285. In the event of amendment of a confirmed booking, standard conditions, penalties and charges may apply at the discretion of Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites. 18. The Promoter and any of its related entities is not responsible (either directly or indirectly) for:
a. delays, reschedules, insolvency, acts of war and force majeure impacting on the winner’s travel arrangements or use of the Prize by any third-party product or service provider; loss, damage, accidents or injury arising from any aspect of any booking, reservation or use of products or services connected with the Prize; or
b. any ancillary costs incurred by the winner including but not limited to travel costs, insurance, food and beverage costs or any other expenses incurred during use of the Prize.
19. The Winner is responsible for any and all other travel arrangements and associated costs (including but not limited to travel, flights, parking, food, transport, passports, visas, permits, local taxes, duties, travel insurance or any additional costs or charges including any damages incurred throughout your stays at Minor Hotels properties and/ or partner brand properties).
20. The Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. Under no circumstances can the Prize be on-sold for profit or any other purpose.
21. This Promotion may be withdrawn by the Promoter at any time prior to the Draw.
22. Personal information used and/or collected for the purpose of this Promotion is in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be viewed on our website https://www.oakshotels.com/en/privacy-policy
23. The Winner agrees that personal details, such as your name and location, may be used by the Promoter on its website or social media platforms to announce the conclusion of the Promotion.
24. The Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Promotion result or any other decisions the Promoter makes in connection with the Promotion.
25. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook and Instagram.
