Family fun at our Sunshine Coast Resort Water Park
Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is known for its family-friendly, laid-back holiday experience. There’s a bit of magic behind it. Spanning 10 acres of lush, landscaped gardens definitely helps, but the real secret is filling every corner with fun activities, so there’s always something new to do. It also helps that it’s one of the few resorts in Sunshine Coast with its own water park, right on the very beautiful (and very sunny) Caloundra.
Kids tend to flock to our “splashtacular” water park (coined by the little ones themselves). Spanning 500 m2, it’s a multi levelled castle with waterslides, fountains for chasing droplets, and interactive activities for the kids to go bananas for.
Meanwhile, you're chilling with a cold drink from the sun lounge, watching all the 'splashtacular' action unfold from the vantage of the leisure deck. Or hang out by the grassy picnic area to soak up the sunshine. Colourful party tents are easy to spot, so they’re perfect for the lunchtime meet up.
That's the tip of the iceberg. Float around in the tropical lagoon pool or take a long soak in the spa. When the kids need to stay dry, send them up the triple galaxy climbing frame, or bouncing around the kangaroo jumping pillow.
If you're a sporting family, head out to the tennis course (it’s floodlit for a little Wimbledon after dark), our 18 hole mini golf course or the beach volleyball court.
Heads up, Splash Squad:
Our waterpark is open for resort guests, waterpark parties, and the occasional visiting cousin who “just happened to be in the area”. If you’re visiting friends or family staying at the resort, day passes are $15 per child and must be signed in by the registered guest at reception before making a splash. Kids aged 12 and under will need a parent or guardian (16+) supervising while they tackle the slides, sprays and splash zones. And for resort guests? Good news, waterpark access is already included in your stay, whether you want to get in on the fun or prefer to supervise from dry land.
