Where to get excellent coffee in Brisbane’s CBD
Whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure we all know there’s one thing you need at 6am in the morning, and it’s not eggs. That delicious smell of roasting beans is what gets you through the day and we’ll not let you settle for second best. Hightail it straight to one of these fantastic barista’s to get your morning hit.
John Mills Himself, Charlotte Street
Super convenient if you are staying at Oaks Charlotte Towers, but very difficult to find. Access is either through a gift shop or down the driveway of a parking garage, but trust us the search is well worth it as John Mills is the only other place in Brisbane (apart from Milton) that has Bunker coffee. Their cold brews are famous and the only thing getting some of us through the corporate day!
Strauss, Elizabeth Street
Tucked away in an alley between Charlotte Street and Elizabeth Street, this quirky little café is another one conveniently located only a couple minutes’ walk from Oaks Charlotte Towers. Not only is their specialty coffee first class but their simple, yet divine breakfast menu is one you must try. If you are a fan of smashed avo, look no further.
Coffee Anthology, Margaret Street
Perfect if you are a regular at Oaks 212 on Margaret this is only just down the street, and are regularly voted as one of the best in Brisbane with Michelin star quality coffee. The great part about these guys is that they stock wide variety of beans and brands from all over the world so you can always get something new and delicious.
Pablo & Rusty’s, Mary Street
Located down near the river and directly opposite Oaks Felix, this quirky café has come straight from Sydney’s roasting champions. With incredible first origin coffee and sweet treats to die for it’s perfect for that mid-morning pick me up.
With 11 properties scattered across Brisbane, Oaks has a hotel to suit you in every corner of the city view all the Brisbane hotels here.Back
