A good stay, but I can't go any higher with a rating. Our room and resort facilities were fine however I don't think they deserve a higher rating when there's so much accommodation competition in town. Furniture, furnishings, cleanliness and wifi were very good and the staff were lovely. Our room though felt under-equipped, especially in the kitchen where the coffee mugs were thimble size (thank god I'd packed my keep cup for a decent size cuppa). No toaster - I imagine due to fire call outs from burnt toast? - but it's such a basic it's probably worth listing as excluded. There was one saucepan and one wok to cook with, so if we'd been hoping to self-cater it would have been pretty challenging and the bbqs which are advertised on their site are no longer installed and there are definitely no cycles for hire although we spotted Beam scooters. We later stayed in the Cairns property which was clearly newer. It feels like this property needs a good overall, onsite and online to get everything up to date.

Great value, great location. The apartment was great with a separate kitchen/lounge area, bedroom and ensuite.

Port Douglas is a beautiful spot with lots of amenities and shops as well as the Great Barrier Reef for snorkelling or view from Glass Bottom boat.
