This Hotel is great, having a full kitchen is a great way to save a bit of money. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the fact that the TV could be swung around for viewing while you are in bed. The room was comfortable and very quiet. I have stayed at Oak on Collins on may occasions both for business and pleasure. I will be back.
Recommend… but be aware of internal studio

Located within easy walk of trains, tram stop nearby, IGA next door. Easy walk to rest of city & Southbank etc. Room clean & well equipped. Bed comfortable. Had 4 nights in internal studio apartment (no external window) so felt a bit claustrophobic. Ensuite small but adequate, becomes a ‘wet room’ after shower.

My stay at the Oaks Melbourne on Collins was excellent. The spacious apartment layouts offered plenty of room to stretch out, far exceeding a standard hotel room. The location is unbeatable, sitting right in the Free Tram Zone near main stations, making transit effortless. Above all, the standout customer service made a huge impact—Don was incredibly friendly and welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommended!
