Terms and Conditions of Entry for Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites Win the Trip Everyone (Actually) Wants” competition (Promotion).

Please read the terms and conditions carefully. By entering this competition, you have confirmed you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. These terms and condition of entry, including, without limitation, information on how to participate and the prize or promotion details (Terms), apply to the competition, and entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms by an entrant.

2. The promoter is Minor Hotels Australasia Limited (ACN 70 113 972 366) (referred to as “Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites”) of Level 26, 266 George Street, Brisbane, Queensland 4000 (Promoter).

3. The Promotion will be open from 12.00pm (AEST) on 19 December 2025 until 11.59pm (AEST) on 18 January 2026 (Promotion Period). Entries received after the Promotion period will not be valid entries.

4. Information on how to enter and/or participate in the competition and any prize information not part of these terms are deemed incorporated into (and form part of) these Terms.

5. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and anything else that refers to this competition these Terms will prevail.

6. Entry in the Promotion is only open to natural persons who are resident in Australia and are aged 18 years and over, and is not open to:

(a) management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, the participating and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of prizes as applicable);

(b) a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph 6(a) of these Terms;

(c) persons who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win a promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter (except in the case of a legal change of name); and

(d) persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter.

The Promoter’s decision on whether a person is eligible to enter or participate in the competition is final and may be determined in the Promotor’s absolute discretion.

7. Personal information used and/or collected for the purpose of this Promotion is in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be viewed on our website https://www.oakshotels.com/en/privacy.

By entering the competition the entrant consents to the Promoter’s use, storage and destruction of their information in accordance with that policy. If these conditions are for a competition, entrants agree that their personal details (including their full name and general residential location) may be displayed by the Promoter on their social media pages or website (to announce the chosen winner of that competition).

8. All entrants agree that if they win the prize, they will not, sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation, including the Internet. Photographs will be allowed only at the discretion of the Promoter.

9. The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Promotion result or any other decisions the Promoter makes in connection with the Promotion.

10. The Terms associated with this competition may be amended, varied or removed at the reasonable discretion of the Promoter without further notice.

11. The competition and these Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and all entrants and the Promoter submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland, Australia.

12. Entries in the competition are personal to each entrant and may not be assigned to any other person.

HOW TO ENTER

13. Eligible entrants or participants in the competition must, during the Promotion Period:

a) Scan the QR code at One (1) of the Five (5) Brisbane Heat Big Bash Games on the 19 December 2025, 27 December 2025, 2nd January 2026, 10 January 2026, 18 January 2026.

b) Complete the Promotion entry requirements by following the prompts on the Promotion landing page at https://www.oakshotels.com/en/partnership/brisbane-heat-competition.

14. Only one entry per person will be accepted.

15. Eligible Entrants must agree to the terms and conditions to participate in the Promotion.

DRAW

16. The competition is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the Winner. Each Valid Entry has an equal chance of being selected.

17. The prize draw which will be drawn by the Promoter at Level 26, 266 George Street, Brisbane, QLD 4000] (Draw Location) at 12.00pm AEST on 21 January 2026 from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period to select one winner (Draw).

18. The winner will be notified within 24 hours via email or phone.

19. If the first valid chosen entry winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond to any attempted contact within 48 hours of the Draw, that entrant will be disqualified, their entry will be declared null and void and a second chance Draw for the unclaimed prize will take place at the Draw Location by the Promoter on 23 January 2026 at 12.00pm. This process will be repeated until a valid entry winner is successfully contacted.

20. The Draw winner will be published on the @Oaks_Hotels profile on Instagram and Oaks Hotels Facebook page, within 5 days of the Draw.

PRIZES

21. $5,000 Oaks Accommodation voucher will be supplied in two (2) separate vouchers of $2,500 each.

22. Each voucher will be valid for up to 3 years.

23. Prize is to be used within 3 years- valid until 21 January 2029

24. Any remaining credit not used will be forfeit.

27. Blackout dates may apply which can be notified to you via phone by calling Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites on 0800 004 285. In the event of amendment of a confirmed booking, standard conditions, penalties and charges may apply at the applicable.

28. taxes and service charges are payable to the hotel in respect of any Prize.

29. The Winner is responsible for any additional expenses, including travel, transport, food and beverage, insurance, taxes, upgrades, incidentals, and any damage charges incurred during any stay

30. The Prize cannot be on-sold or exchanged for any other goods or services.

31. The Promotion may be withdrawn at any time prior to the Draw.

33. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash or transferred or sold to any other person (other than the winner).

34. The Promoter is not responsible for any ancillary costs incurred by the winner including but not limited to travel costs, food and beverage costs or any other expenses incurred during stays. The winner of the Prize is responsible for any and all other travel arrangements and associated costs (including but not limited to travel, flights, parking, food, transport, passports, visas, permits, local taxes, duties, travel insurance or any additional costs or charges including any damages incurred throughout their stay at the hotel the subject of the prize.

35. Where the prize is a hotel booking, all bookings are subject to their respective availability. Blackout dates may apply which can be notified to you via phone by calling the Promoter on +61 7 2100 0577. In the event of amendment of a confirmed booking, the hotel operator’s standard conditions, penalties and charges may apply at the discretion of the hotel operator.

36. The Promoter and any of its related entities is not responsible (either directly or indirectly) for delays, reschedules, insolvency, acts of war and force majeure impacting on the winner’s travel arrangements or use of the Prize by any third party product or service provider; loss, damage, accidents or injury arising from any aspect of any booking, reservation or use of products or services connected with the Prize.
